We love orange, but green is cool too!
Here at The Fast Lane we’re all about doing our bit for the environment… we don’t take for granted this wonderful country we live in and know that every little bit towards a greener future counts. So, whether it’s recycling our milk bottles, packaging and trays, spreading the love with our used coffee grounds (which are great for the garden by the way) or introducing new products to cut down on waste - we are reducing our foot print in the best ways we can.
But, how you might ask?
Our cups…
We spent a stack of time researching our cups, and we’re proud to print them with BioPak. By ordering from BioPak we can ensure that we have the best quality cups that are also carbon neutral. BioPak measure, reduce where possible and offset any remaining greenhouse gas emissions associated with their products and operations. Since 2010 they have offset 99,773 tons of CO2 which if the equivalent of removing 27,635 new cars from the road!
Reusable cups…
You asked and we created! By offering reusable cups we’re giving our customers the chance to get involved and help the environment too. Even though our cups are eco-friendly, not all are disposed correctly – and reusable cups take the ‘green’ concept one step further. Available for purchase across our sites, our team is happy to rinse them out (or any reusable coffee cup for that matter) and refill them each time your purchase your coffee - good karma points all round!
Coffee carry bags…
All of our cardboard trays are recyclable and biodegradable, and better yet if you made it through our drive through earlier this month you might have scored yourself a FREE coffee carry bag too! These little orange bags were a gift from us to our lovely customers and can fit four coffees in them at a time.. but the best part? Bring them back and they can be used time and time again!
Kids tumblers…
We’ll let you in on a little secret, we’ve got the cutest promotion on the way – reusable kids tumblers! We couldn’t let the adults have all the fun, so have specially designed these kid friendly cups for your little ones. They are dishwasher friendly, perfect hot choccys and milkshakes and your kids are going to love them. Available mid-July, there’s tonnes of stock and at just $2 each you can’t NOT get one. Plus, just like any other reusable cup, bring them back and use them again!
