Rockhampton South launches
Rockhampton locals will now have not one, but two, opportunities to simplify their morning take-away coffee ritual with the arrival of Rockhampton’s second dedicated drive-through cafe.
Now open at 48 Gladstone Rd, Allenstown, the second Fast Lane site is run by Patti Mules and her team who have proudly run the Berserker Fast Lane site since it first opened over two years ago.
To officially welcome the second Rockhampton site to the Fast Lane family, we thought we’d quiz Patti on what motivates her to get up at 3am every day and live life in the Fast Lane.
Before I took on TFL I was… running the Ginger Mule Tapas Bar here in Rockhampton.
We opened the second TFL site here in Rocky because... I thought it needed two locations – one on the Northside and one on the Southside. Plus there was nothing like it on the Southside, and we’d so much support for our first site on the Northside that it all just made sense.
The response so far to the second site has been... really good! We’ve had some old customers who love that the new site is closer to home, and a lot of new customers too now that we haven’t met before.
Our best-selling product across the two sites is… either our large coffees or ham and cheese toasties.
The best thing about going to work each day is.. catching up with my customers and getting to do something I really enjoy every day.
My favourite customer memory is.. there’s so many! But I’ve been very lucky to receive some lovely gifts from customers, which is always unexpected and appreciated.
I love Rocky because.. of the people. Rocky has really embrace The Fast Lane and our customers are the best.
I take my coffee.. caramel latte on full cream milk.
The next thing on my to-do list is.. have a holiday!
I’m inspired by.. what I’m doing, and always working to do better for our customers.
As well as offering everybody’s favourite cup of caffeine, Rockhampton South will serve cold drinks and snack-style food, including muffins, croissants and toast.
Rockhampton South Fast Lane is open from 5am – 5pm Monday to Friday, 6am – 1pm Saturday and 7am – 12noon on Sunday.
